 The m3 system is fully integrated with the Vision CNC. This simplifies plasma setup and operation, and allows for fully automatic process switching from cutting to marking mode. The operator simply selects the material type and thickness, the Vision CNC automatically selects and mixes the optimal start, cut and shield gas combination. Process parameters for most plasma cutting and marking applications are preloaded in the Vision CNC, and custom parameter files can be easily created as needed.

No manual adjustments are made at the plasma flow control - all inputs are through the CNC, allowing for fully automatic plasma process setup and switching.

ESAB integrates all station control and process control into the CNC. This allows the process setup to be more complex, so it can be optimized. At the same time, cutting setup is simplified because it is all done through the CNC.

The operator simply selects the material type, thickness, and quality level. The Vision CNC sets all process parameters automatically. And the CNC even displays the proper consumables the operator should use for the conditions he has selected.

The Vision CNC also allows complete process automation, where the process selection is done by the part program. This feature completely automates the complex setup task, making your cutting process results operator independent. You get consistent cut quality from every shift, every operator, because they are all using the same cutting parameters.
